but the most I can muster is a . I think it's just that we've *had* so many "freak" hurricanes in memory that yeah, they suck, but you get through them. Knocking on wood of course for myself and those that I love, but... . It'll all be good in the end...

I keep telling myself that the more time they spend on the hurricane the less time they can spend hyping the depressing crap.

(My SO likes to watch the news 24/7 and it makes me crazy. I can deal with hurricanes, having lived through Hugo in Charleston!)
