Oh my, I do think you have it - that's gorgeous. It still seems as though there there's a little bit more going on with the edges though, though now that I've seen your dags I'm leaning away from the beading or thread edging that I was afraid it was. Wonder if the fabric of the dress was thick enough that it didn't quite dye all the way through? (so the original color of the wool was showing a bit) Just a quick thought, haven't looked into it that closely though.
