Well, Pennsic is definitely in our plans - I just don't know what year. My husband's never been, and I haven't been since XX...and I wasn't a fighter then.
I'm not even sure I would have gotten the question right if they'd said "in melee". I think to get "engagement" out of me you'd have to say something like "What's it called when two fighters have acknowledged each other and are about to fight?" It's just not a word that comes trippingly off my tongue.
Now I *really* have to get my swords back together and go fight!
