ISBN.nu: Find the best price for books online.

This site is *fabulous*. I got sent to this from a random article, and just as a test, typed in a book I had been looking for for *years* (Margaret Scott’s The History of Dress: Late Gothic Europe, 1400-1500) and never found for a price I was willing to pay. It found it… in Canada… for something resembling half the price I had found it elsewhere. (And yes, I should get it next week.)

::happy dance::
Enjoy!

Have you ever used Bookfinder.com? That's usually my used book site of choice because it's an aggregate or meta site. It includes even other meta sites like Abe and others (http://www.bookfinder.com/about/booksellers/).

I haven't, I'll have to add that to the list of possible sources.

What I *truly* wish existed was a site where you could put in a wish list with maximum prices you wanted to pay - then it could just tell you when something popped up. You'd think that'd be easy to code, or at least an easy addition once you had the ability to search for things, but I've never seen anything like it. Possibly it'd be too much load on the various servers...

I think something like that is available on Abe or one of those similar sites - I know I have bought at least one book that way - typed in a price and received an email months later when the book became available for that price.

Would you like some whipped cream on that smug of gloat? :->

Jocularity aside, that's a good find!

Interesting. I have never heard of this site.

This is the best site that I have ever found for finding new and used books:

http://www.usedbooksearch.co.uk/

This site searches thousands of book stores world wide. I have found some amazing books through them.
