Y'all know the drill (5 questions, let me know if you want me to interview you...)
These are from [livejournal.com profile] bunnyjadwiga.

How would you describe your persona?
Lady Guenievre de Monmarche isn't nearly as fleshed out as I'd like her to be... but... Guenievre is a noblewoman living somewhere in France, in 1410. She's married, and I think of her as being fairly well off. Personality wise she's a bit spoiled, but pious as any woman of her rank and station should be, though perhaps a little too vain and a little too fond of books like the romance of Alexander. She hopes to have children soon, but occupies herself in the meantime with the management of her estates (inherited from her parents - she was the oldest daughter, and her 2 brothers were killed by illnesses in childhood.)
This all may change depending on what I find when I do more research. One of these days...

What's your favorite kind of bread?
It's not period, but I *adore* buttery crescent rolls - not quite croissants, as I've not mastered THAT art, but the kind one makes as dinner rolls with Thanksgiving dinner....A close second is a nice French baguette, with Nutella...

If you could ask one cook from the past 3 questions, which cook would it be, and what questions?
I'd probably talk to Chiqart, as I like his attitude (he seems like such a perfectionist, with his insistance on mortars that don't smell of garlic...).
I think my questions would be:
1. Are bruets *really* supposed to be soups, or "meats-with-sauce"?
2. How often did you have to use all those nifty subtlety recipes in your book - were the subtleties only for very important feasts, or were they an expected part of feast-day meals?
3. It seems as though many of your recipes call for similar spice blends - this gives the perception of a lot of things tasting very similar - do they, or do the proportions vary enough to make the recipes different?

What do you want to have achieved by the time you are 36?
I have a few main goals - several of which have to do with the SCA. I'm 23 now, and by the time I'm 36, will have been in the society for 17 years. I'd like to think I could learn enough, grow enough to be a Laurel by then, though maybe that's an unrealistic goal. We'll see. I also hope to have a child by then, or long before then actually, along with a house, etc. Oh, yeah, and maybe I'll actually figure out what I want to do with my life, lol...

What do you do for a living?
I do marketing / admin support for a copier dealership. It can be a, um, special place at times, as it's a smallish company that's prone to being run more based on personalities than on procedures. But I hate corporate bullshit, and I (mostly) enjoy my job. My husband ([livejournal.com profile] soucyn) works there too, which is nice. And no, it isn't what I intended to do with my life - at one point I thought I was going to go the PhD route, and do genetics research. But I burnt out, and ended up not evening finishing my BS - oops! So I kind of ended up falling into my current job.

I just realized as I was answering [livejournal.com profile] kfitzwarin's question meme that I hadn't ever written any from the last time I did this...

1. I assume you and Calli met through the SCA - how did you end up dating?

2. If you could have the clothing from any period portrait/image, which one would it be?

3. You told me about your job once, and it sounded fun. What do you love / hate about it?

4. What do you think the most important thing about running a canton is, now that you're near the end of your tenure at Elvegast (I assume, anyway, since Rosalind has been running some meetings)?

5. Having never met your cats, do they match their names?(I've never managed to name a cat in such a way that the name and the personality match)
