Aethelmarcian friends, you're my only hope! Word just hit the Merry Rose that there WAS no Pennsic Crack at war, given the dairy doesn't bottle milk anymore. Tell me this is a false rumor, else I very well may starve @ War this year.... (Not to mention I won't have anything to put the vodka in...)

It's sadly true. The dairy is no longer bottling milk, so no more Pennsic crack.

They now just have regular chocolate milk.

You should bring some Maple View Farms chocolate milk with you instead! I know it may be blasphemous to say so, but when I went to Pennsic for the first time and tried the infamous "crack", I thought to myself "hmm... tastes almost as good as Maple View's..."

In fact, you could buy a ton of the stuff and sell it on the side to others who are jonesing for the stuff... be a crack dealer! :-)

I don't even drink milk most of the time - I mean, I've had maple view, and yes, objectively it's just as good. But it's really just about "this is what Pennsic tastes like"...

Homeland Creamery in Julian NC is actually better IMO. They seel it at Earth Fare, but I buy it at the farmer's market.

Like I said, I barely drink milk most of the time. It's just an almost-literal question of what I'll eat at Pennsic - as I really do barely eat when I'm up there. Hrm, maybe Pennsic will become a weightloss experiment...
