Spatula! (Really, people, get your mind out of the gutter!)



Ran across this (well, mine's "Huckleberry" instead of this unfortunate green) at Southern Season, and couldn't resist. If you run across one, and are dubious, I recommend getting it - it's nice and heavy, and the blades on each end have the perfect combination of rigidity and flex for scraping bowls, etc. Also, being silicon, it's "Jennifer-proof" - ask my husband how often I set kitchen tools on fire, or any number of other bad things...

Oh i'm bad about that one. Ask D some day what I did to her Pampered Chef spatual while cooking bacon. The short of it is that I bubbled the plastic and baked bacon bits into it. Now all I get is wood and silicone.

Spiff! I love kitchen toys. And I understand the "jennifer-proof" comment... I can't count the number of spoons/spatulas that have met an untimely demise at my hands. LOL... BTW... I'm staying at a hotel Friday night in Garner for this weekend... what time are you getting started Saturday? I'm looking forward to it.

If I remember correctly, didnt you burn one of the potholders I gave you that time? I also beleive you burned one of the "jennifer-proof" silicone pot holders you have as well. At this point, I dont think there is anything which is quite "jennifer-proof" except maybe a stone but even then I wonder what you could do with a stone. :)
